Devil's Pulpit site located and inspected by Chris Haney, Doug Ball and Mike Hurdzan.

The Devil's Pulpit Golf Association is founded by Chris Haney.

1988, Dec.

Site approved and purchased.
Application deposited to Niagara Escarpment Commission for Devil's Links.

1989, Jan. 7

Membership draw with 269 people purchasing founding memberships at Innis Lake

1989, March

Course construction begins at Devil's Pulpit.

1990, July

First round of golf at Devil's Pulpit by Chris Haney, Scott Abbott, Doug Ball and Ian Matsuura.

1990, Summer

Course construction begins at Devil's Paintbrush.

1990, Sept. 9

Devil's Pulpit grand opening gala held in a marquee with 600 in attendance.

1990, Nov. 26

Devil's Pulpit clubhouse opens.

1991, Sept. 3

The Duke of Kent hosts dinner for Lorne Regiment of Scots.

1991, Sept. 13

Remi Bouchard shoots course-record 64 at Devil's Pulpit in Tournament Players Championship, a major Canadian Tour event.

1991, Sept. 15

Mark Wurtz wins $118,000 top prize in Tournament Players Championship in playoff over Remi Bouchard.

1992, Jan.

Devil's Pulpit awarded "Best New Course" in Canada honours by Golf Digest magazine.

1992, June 22-26

Canadian Club Champions Championship hosted by Devil's Pulpit.

1992, July 1

Devil's Paintbrush opens with party at Professor Rabbit's Hole.

1992, July 5

Tornado rips through Devil's Pulpit.

1992, July 26

Tournament Players Championship at Devil's Pulpit won by Stuart Hendley.

1993, Jan.

Devil's Paintbrush awarded "Best New Course" in Canada honours by Golf Digest.

1993, July 24-25

Skins Game at Devil's Pulpit won by Fred Couples over Raymond Floyd, Jack Nicklaus and Nick Price.

1996, Sept. 13-15

Inaugural President's Cup matches are won by the Devil's Paintbrush team.

1997, Nov.

Devil's Paintbrush is recognized as one of the world's best courses, named "hidden jewel" and winner of "Honorable Mention" by Golf magazine.

1998, Aug.

Devil's Pulpit acclaimed as "Best Conditioned Course in Canada" by Score magazine.

1999, May

Elected to "The Finest Golf Clubs of the World."

1999, June

Golf Digest ranks both courses in the top 20 in Canada. The Paintbrush is rated 8th while the Pulpit ranks as 13th best.

2000, Fall

No.13 at Devil's Paintbrush, a 226-yard par 3, is featured in The 500 World's Greatest Golf Holes published by the editors of Golf magazine.

2001, July

Devil's Pulpit Golf Association named Best Private Course by Score magazine.

2003, Nov.

Golf Digest magazine ranks DevilŐs Paintbrush 5th and DevilŐs Pulpit 10th in their list of Best Courses in Canada.

2004, July 22 & 23

DevilŐs Pulpit hosts 6th Annual Toronto Star Amateur.

2006, August

SCOREGolf magazine ranks Devil's Paintbrush 4th and Devil's Pulpit 17th in their list of Best Canadian Courses.

2007, Spring

Report on Business magazine names Devil's Paintbrush 13th as The Hardest Hole in Canada

2007, Aug. 14-17

Devil's Pulpit hosts Inaugural Greens & Dreams Junior Invitational featuring The Kern Cup for junior boys and Marlene Stewart Streit Cup for junior girls.
